Oppo Find N5 Design Leaks in Full

Earlier today on Twitter, known accurate tech leaker Even Blass posted a series of images depicting the upcoming Oppo Find N5. No question this is one of the most highly anticipated devices of the year and Oppo has recently confirmed that it’ll be launched globally around February 20th. Hopefully, this means that it’ll launch here in the states at the same time under the OnePlus banner as the Open 2.

As you can see, much of the design is familiar with a few notable changes. First, the camera module appears to have a slightly less perfect circle design. The cameras themselves are rotated into a square orientation with LED flash being brought inside as well. The Hasselblad logo sits dead center now. That camera module might also be a touch smaller and other imagery indicates it might even be thinner than last year as well. The inner bezel looks to be slightly smaller while the cover display bezel appears very similar, although the hinge area to the left is nearly gone. Very impressive.

For those who might be behind a bit on the other specs, this device is stellar on paper. It's incredibly thin at around 4.2mm when opened, yet it boasts impressive features like 50W wireless and 80W wired charging with a 5,500mAh battery. There’s said to be a triple 50MP camera system possibly including a telephoto macro lens and IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9 water resistance ratings meaning it can withstand even high-pressure water jets. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC.

Yesterday we also got a tweet from the Chief Product Officer of OPPO Pete Lau that took a shot at the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s crease by comparing it to the yet unveiled Oppo Find N5 crease. While these images are certainly impressive, it’s also important to remember that most foldables have creases that are much harder to see when they’re brand new. After a day or so of use the crease tends to break in. I’d bet that this N5 is brand new and that’s why the crease is so impossible to see.

After all, we’ve seen what a more broken in crease looks like already (image 3) and it’s more visible than this. Still, it’ll certainly look better than what Samsung is currently offering.
