Infinix Shows Off Novel New Tri-Fold Concept
When you picture a multi-fold phone, you probably imagine a big screen, right? That's definitely the trend, with the Huawei Mate XT boasting a 10.2-inch display and the rumored Samsung’s Multi-Fold expected to be in that range as well. It's easy to see the appeal – a phone that can fit in your pocket and also turn into a full-sized tablet makes a lot of sense.
Google Pixel Keyboard Case Coming Soon..
My first ever smartphone was the Palm Pre and a big reason for that was the physical keyboard. At the time, I was skeptical that typing on a touchscreen would be an enjoyable experience. All these years later, I can confirm that my intuition still rings true - I simply do not enjoy typing on glass. Anytime I can I fall back to voice to text to avoid allowing my clumsy digits to mangle my messages with typos. Thank god for Pixel’s Proofread function..
Huawei’s Multi-Folding Mate XT Goes Global
When word broke back in September of 2024 that Huawei was launching this insane piece of tech, the internet basically melted down. My reaction video hit nearly 100K views which is particularly impressive given how little I cover Huawei. It was clear from the buzz alone that this would be an important device - even Samsung appears set to respond.
Mint Mobile Goes Truly Unlimited
As someone who has used Mint Mobile for years now, the only real downside that I’ve come across is the fact that like many carriers, their unlimited data wasn’t truly unlimited. Once you hit 40GB of data, which if we’re being honest is a ton, your speeds would be limited to a degree that might make your phone hard to use.

After owning the title of World’s Thinnest Foldable for quite a while, the Honor Magic V3 is set to be surpassed by the Oppo Find N5 which launches this Thursday. Still, coming in at 4.35mm, Honor’s foldable remains an engineering wonder.

The AI Backlash is Missing the Point
As part of my job as a full-time tech YouTuber I spend a lot of time reading comments. Probably too much time, if I’m honest. Generally speaking, when I read my comments I end up learning something about other people’s perspectives and seeing how people react to my work helps me be better at my job. That being said, I have to admit that sometimes reading the comments can be a bit annoying. As hard as I try to keep in mind that most things I’m reading are highly subjective and therefore no one is wrong there is still that human part of me that thinks “Oh my god, you are just so wrong about this.” Most recently, this has been with AI.

What's the Best CapCut Replacement Video Editor for Android?
Maybe you’ve missed the news, but this little app called CapCut has just been banned in the United States. Along with TikTok several other apps by ByteDance have also gotten the axe. On of those said apps was CapCut, which was one of the best and most popular free video editors on Android. I've installed a whole bunch of other video editors on my Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and I'm going to try to edit a quick video in each of them. Hopefully, I'll be able to determine which, if any, of these can serve as a suitable replacement for CapCut.
